A bill that’s working its way through the state Legislature takes aim at sexual predators who buy their victims’ silence with confidentiality agreements.
It’s an issue that’s come to light with the dawn of the #metoo movement and revelations about serial sexual abusers like producer Harvey Weinstein.
The House has passed the bill, and, just Thursday, it passed out of the Senate Judiciary committee. And, we’re joined now by that bill’s sponsor Paradise Valley Republican Maria Syms.
