Window And Door Maker Acquires Arizona Company

The largest window and door manufacturer in North American has acquired a Valley company.

Andersen Corporation has acquired Heritage Windows and Doors. The Gilbert-based company serves the luxury residential and commercial markets.

In a news release, Andersen’s CEO said the acquisition will increase their manufacturing capabilities and geographic reach. Jay Lund also said, “We welcome all Heritage employees into the Andersen family and look forward to a bright future together.”

Andersen, headquartered in Bayport, Minnesota, manufactures and markets window and door products under various names. Founded in 1903, Andersen reports more than 12,000 employees in North America and Europe.

Both Andersen and Heritage are private companies and financial terms were not disclosed.
