The Maricopa Community College District Faculty Association has filed a lawsuit against the district’s governing board.
The suit aims to overturn a decision the board made last month to do away with a bargaining process known as “meet and confer.”
Here to talk about this is Mike Mitchell, president of the Faculty Association.
One of the governing board members who voted for the change is Chair Laurin Hendrix. KJZZ's Mark Brodie spoke with him earlier this morning and asked him his general reaction to the lawsuit being filed.
