Arizona Gas Prices On The Rise As Other States Remain Steady

As the nation’s gas prices remain steady, AAA Arizona reports that prices in the Grand Canyon State are on the rise. Michelle Donati is a spokeswoman for AAA Arizona.

"During this time of year, we typically start to see prices increase," Donati said. "We know the refinery maintenance season is always a very volatile time for gas prices and then you also have the fact this year that demand has been stronger.”

She said to expect continued price hikes at the pump through the end of the month. But, there shouldn’t be any major spikes in fuel prices, at least for the short term. Arizona still maintains lower-than-average gas prices when compared to the rest of country.

Arizona gas prices as of March 16, 2018 are as follows:

Arizona Average: $2.43

Maricopa County $2.40

Yuma County $2.44

Pima County: $2.32

Coconino County: $2.62

La Paz County: $2.58

Yavapai County: $2.55

Cochise County: $2.42
