On Wednesday, Tempe police released video in the fatal Sunday nightcrash that involved an Uber self-driving vehicle.
Elaine Herzberg, 49, died after she was struck while crossing Mill Avenue near Curry Road with a bicycle. Herzberg was not in a crosswalk.
The video shows both interior and exterior views of the vehicle just before the collision.
"Tempe Police Vehicular Crimes Unit is actively investigating the details of this incident. We will provide updated information regarding the investigation once it is available," said Tempe Detective Liliana Duran in an email statement.
The National Transportation Safety Board and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration are also investigating the accident.
