In 1991, the Stockholm International Water Institute began giving the Stockholm Water Prize on an annual basis. It’s generally intended to recognize “outstanding achievements in water-related activities.”
And this year, an ASU professor is sharing the prize with a scientist from the Netherlands. Bruce Rittman is also director of the Center for Environmental Biotechnology at the ASU Biodesign Institute. He joins The Show's Steve Goldstein to talk about his work.
