When the omnibus spending bill cleared Congress last month, federal employees felt a sigh of relief — at least they avoided a government shutdown and could return to their jobs.
But in the case of the workers inside the EPA Office of Research and Development in Las Vegas, Nevada, their work status actually got more confusing.
