Maricopa County Recorder Looks To Improve Voting Efficiency With Technology

As campaigning continues for the 2018 elections, we’re wondering about who the contenders are and who will ultimately win the primary and general elections in Arizona. Also up for conversation is whether the votes are going to be counted accurately and efficiently, which has been a significant issue in the state in previous cycles.

Maricopa County Recorder Adrian Fontes is taking steps to fix that, in part, by ramping up the use of technology.

Mark Brodie is a co-host of The Show, KJZZ’s locally produced news magazine. Since starting at KJZZ in 2002, Brodie has been a host, reporter and producer, including several years covering the Arizona Legislature, based at the Capitol.
