On Wednesday, U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen is touring the border near Yuma along with Gov. Doug Ducey.
The governor has already welcomed about 60 National Guard troops to the Nogales area. More than 300 service members from the Arizona National Guard are expected to be stationed at various points along the state’s borderlands.
Rafael Carranza, border reporter for the Arizona Republic, is making his way south to join the tour today, and he stopped in Casa Grande to briefly speak with The Show.
