Summit Aims To Make Cities More Generous Towards Their Ecosystems

Green building practices have become more and more a part of urban planning. But, a conference getting underway Thursday in Phoenix looks for ways cities can benefit their local natural environments.

Dayna Baumeiser joined The Show to talk about the inaugural Generous Cities Summit. She’s co-director of the Biomimicry Center at ASU, which is co-hosting the event alongside the consulting firm, Biomimicry 3.8, where she’s a partner.

Mark Brodie is a co-host of The Show, KJZZ’s locally produced news magazine. Since starting at KJZZ in 2002, Brodie has been a host, reporter and producer, including several years covering the Arizona Legislature, based at the Capitol.
