Last week, 78 percent of teachers who voted decided they were going to walk off the job this Thursday to protest low teacher pay and a lack of funding for K-12 schools — among other things.
But there were 22 percent who voted not to strike.
One of those is Patrick Thompson, who teaches in the Kyrene School District.
