Republican Debbie Lesko will represent the 8th Congressional District at least until January.
But the Democratic showing has made the party much more optimistic about what’s to come in November — Dr. Hiral Tipirneni’s relatively narrow loss has a lot to do with some GOP voters and a lot of independents flipping her way.
