Should Democrats Be Encouraged By Election Results In Arizona's 8th Congressional District?

Republican Debbie Lesko won yesterday’s special election in Arizona’s 8th Congressional District, beating Democrat Hiral Tipirneni by about 5 percent.

What could this result may mean for this fall’s midterm elections?

A number of the headlines after the election are about how Lesko won, but that Democrats should be encouraged by Tipirneni’s showing.

The Show talked with Reid Wilson, a national correspondent with The Hill newspaper in Washington, D.C., to find out what he’s hearing in the nation’s capital.
