Some Arizona lawmakers are speaking out against the coming walkout all together.
Rep. Kelly Townsend has taken that one step further. She made a call to teachers and school staff who do not want to walk out, tweeting Tuesday, “If you do not support a walkout and are afraid for your job, send me an email and I will document it for the Department of Education.”
Townsend also tweeted that she is in touch with a local law firm about the possibility of filing a class action lawsuit for those who are negatively affected by the walkout.
The Show got a hold of Townsend to ask her more about this and if she’s been hearing from teachers who are in this position.
