Lower Temperatures, Rain Chance In Store For Arizona This Week

There’s some good news weather-wise for Valley residents this week.

Mark O’Malley is with the National Weather Service in Phoenix. He said we’ll see some slightly lower temperatures before the usual summer heat comes back.

"We are actually looking at some glorious early May weather for Phoenix," O'Malley said. "If you can play hooky from work, Wednesday would be the day. We’re only expecting high temperatures on Wednesday in the lower to middle 70s.”

O’Malley said there’s also a slight chance of showers on Tuesday night. Those heading to Northern Arizona in the middle of the week, can expect freezing weather in the 30s.
