With the sea of red on the capitol grounds this week, you might’ve missed the students in orange.
The March for Our Lives movement has been protesting the governor’s school safety plan, making the line to get into the capitol wrap around the block, and creating an informal alliance between #Redfored teachers and students wanting more gun control.
Despite this influx of opposition, the school safety plan passed after six hours of debate, though it doesn’t look exactly like it did when it was first introduced.
