Exonerated Former Death Row Inmate Ray Krone On Efforts to Abolish Death Penalty

Ray Krone was released from prison 16 years ago as of last month. He’d been convicted in 1992 for the murder of a 36-year old woman, and sentenced to death, even though he maintained he was innocent.

Krone now works with the group Witness to Innocence, which held a vigil and rally Friday morning at the state capitol and a film screening in Scottsdale later in the evening.
