Mark Kelly Speaks Out About Gun Control Following Texas Shooting

Following the Texas school shooting on Friday, Arizona Democrats called for a special session of the state Legislature to talk about school safety.

Mark Kelly, husband of former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, appeared on "Fox News Sunday" to discuss gun control.

Giffords was shot in the head during a constituent meeting in 2011. The incident led them to form The Giffords Law Center to reduce gun violence.

"I mean I think we should make it more difficult," Kelly said. "I mean figure out a way to prevent people coming in the door with a firearm. At the same time, make sure that that irresponsible person can’t get the gun in the first place.”
