There’s a lot of competition among American states for tech companies and tech workers — but right now, the winner of that competition may well be north of the border.
A new survey from the Toronto-based MaRS Discovery District found that more than half of the high-growth tech firms in that part of Canada saw more international job applicants between 2016 and 2017. In some cases, that increase was two or three-fold.
