Las Vegas casino workers could go ahead with a citywide strike as early as June 1.
About 50,000 employees will see their contracts expire next week at a total of 34 Vegas strip and downtown resorts. The last time the unions voted to strike was in 2002, but a compromise was reached. The last time a strike actually took place was 1984.
