Public Art Challenge Looks To Bring New Voices To Arizona Water Discussions

Supported by Intel

A trio of Phoenix-area organizations on Wednesday is launching the Water Public Art Challenge, the third challenge the groups have issued over the past few years.

The first was to raise water consciousness and the second dealt with new water innovation. They’ll pick five winning teams, which will each get $50,000.

The Arizona Community Foundation is one of the groups organizing this challenge led by their president and CEO, Steve Seleznow, joined The Show to talk about it.

Mark Brodie is a co-host of The Show, KJZZ’s locally produced news magazine. Since starting at KJZZ in 2002, Brodie has been a host, reporter and producer, including several years covering the Arizona Legislature, based at the Capitol.
