Kilauea volcano in Hawaii.

Residents of Hawaii continue to feel the effects of Kilauea volcano, its lava still moving quickly on the big island.

And now, health officials on Guam — 4,000 miles away — are warning residents about volcanic haze as a result of the eruption.

Ben Edwards, a professor of Earth Sciences at Dickinson College in Pennsylvania, joined The Show to talk about some of the environmental risks of this eruption.

Mark Brodie is a co-host of The Show, KJZZ’s locally produced news magazine. Since starting at KJZZ in 2002, Brodie has been a host, reporter and producer, including several years covering the Arizona Legislature, based at the Capitol.
