This Thursday, The Show spoke with a guest who thinks one thing that is essential in shaping the future of health care is including more women in it.
Lisa Mead is a former nurse and the founder of Arizona Women in Healthcare. She said that while women dominate the healthcare industry, they make up only a fraction of those in the leadership positions.
She wants to change that, so she’s launching a new program called " 50 Women Can Change The World Healthcare Leadership Program" in partnership with nonprofit Take The Lead. Right now, she’s recruiting women to join.
