Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Leads Arizona Universities In Job Placement

According to a new studybased on data from the National Center for Education Statistics, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott is the number one school in Arizona for job placement after graduation.

This is the second year in a row the university has received such a noteworthy distinction among Arizona’s 48 colleges and universities.

Embry-Riddle Chancellor Frank Ayers said due to the university’s STEM career focus, the majority of graduates goes on to highly sought-after jobs in aviation, aerospace, business and data security.

“We have the nation’s first and only college of security intelligence. In that college, cybersecurity is our fastest growing program across the campus and cybersecurity experts are required everywhere. Just like security intelligence, the requirement for that doesn’t go away.”

Ayers said because the university is of national repute, less than 15 percent of graduates remain in Arizona. He said most of those that do stay are employed by companies like Honeywell, Raytheon and Boeing.
