Arizona Improving, But Still Near Bottom In Annual Child Well-Being Report

Arizona ranks 45th in the country for child well-being, according to the annual Kids Count Data Book.

The report looks at factors including education, health and the economy, where Arizona still ranks low. In those broad categories, Arizona doesn’t rank any higher than 38 out of the 50 states.

With The Show to talk about the results is Dana Naimark, president and CEO of Children’s Action Alliance.

Mark Brodie is a co-host of The Show, KJZZ’s locally produced news magazine. Since starting at KJZZ in 2002, Brodie has been a host, reporter and producer, including several years covering the Arizona Legislature, based at the Capitol.
