As more of us are spending too much time looking at our smartphones or other things, the danger of distracted driving is growing. That’s increasing the challenges to road designers and workers involved in infrastructure and related construction. And with autonomous vehicles on the way, keeping all of us safer on the roads is a significant priority.
A national organization that focuses on those issues has a new chairman from Arizona. The new chair for the American Traffic Safety Services Association, Juan Arvizu, is a Chandler businessman and joined us on The Show this Friday to talk about it.
