It looks like a legislative push to chip away at Arizona’s Clean Elections system is continuing.
Since voters approved Clean Elections in 1998, it has been a target of many Republican lawmakers.
A November ballot measure known as Proposition 306 is intended to take away the Citizens Clean Elections Commission’s ability to enact its own rules.
A lawsuit voted on by the commission says voters aren’t going to be told that in the election publicity pamphlet.
