The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has long been an ally of the GOP. But, this week, it went on the offense against the Trump administration's recent decisions on trade.
The chamber released a state-by-state analysis Monday that showed the potential impact of new tariffs on steel and aluminum imports from some of America's most reliable allies. In Arizona, the chamber said, more than $266 million in the state’s exports would be threatened by the new tariffs.
