Kelli Ward is a former Republican state legislator and osteopathic physician running against Congresswoman Martha McSally and former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Jeff Flake.
She left her position in the state Senate in 2015 to run against John McCain in the 2016 primary, but was defeated.
