One Arizona Aims To Break Voter Registration Record

Members of One Arizona are collecting voter registrations. They hope to reach 200,000 by October.

In 2016, One Arizona sent out an army of volunteers across the state and registered more than 150,000 new voters leading up to the election. It set a record for new voters registered in a single year.

Their goal was to get as many new — especially Latino — voters as possible on the books. Now, they’re announcing a new voter registration campaign for 2018 that will surpass their last record.

For more on this, The Show talked to Montserrat Arrendondo, One Arizona’s executive director.
