Study: Arizona Renewable Energy Growing At One Of The Fastest Rates In U.S.

A new report shows Arizona is generating a lot more renewable energy than it did a decade ago. In fact, the state could power 658,000 homes today using renewables.

In addition to that, California is the only state growing in solar generation at a faster rate than Arizona.

Those are just a couple of the key facts in Environment Arizona Research and Policy Center’s " Renewables on the Rise" study.

Bret Fanshaw is the solar program director at the center and spoke with The Show about the study.

Steve Goldstein was a host at KJZZ from 1997 to 2022.
