'Scottsdale For All' Campaign Focuses On Diversity, Welcoming Newcomers

The Scottsdale City Council decided not to pursue a non-discrimination ordinance, instead calling on Arizona lawmakers to implement a statewide policy that would cover LGBT people.

Earlier this summer, Scottsdale’s Human Relations Commission decided to take more of a grassroots step to show that the city is diverse and open to residents of all backgrounds.

It’s called "Scottsdale for All," and it features posters showing the city’s inclusiveness as various residents are photographed next to the Civic Center Mall’s "LOVE" sculpture.

One of the forces behind "Scottsdale for All" is the Human Relations Commission’s Vice Chair Nadia Mustafa, and she was with The Show.
