Why Haven't We Fixed Climate Change 30 Years Later?

A variety of questions related to climate change have been posed for nearly a century, though intense controversy regarding whether it’s created by humans was sparked much more recently.

The actual focus on climate change as something newsworthy and open for public discussion began in earnest three decades ago.

That’s the jumping-off point for Andrew Revkin, strategic adviser for environmental and science journalism at the National Geographic Society, in his piece in the July issue of National Geographic magazine.

Revkin's piece is called " Climate Change First Became News 30 Years Ago. Why Haven’t We Fixed It?"

Steve Goldstein was a host at KJZZ from 1997 to 2022.
