Valley Could See A Short Break From Monsoon Storms This Week

Valley residents may be getting a break from the monsoon storms early in the week. But it won’t be gone for long.

Chris Kuhlman is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Phoenix. He said temperatures will be around 107 degrees on Wednesday.

“Definitely by Wednesday we’ll probably see a full-fledged just moisture come in here," he said. "Then chances of storms returning and temperatures closer to normal through the end of the work week.”

Kuhlman said Arizona is about halfway through this year's monsoon with about a month left to go.
