Hit Makers by Derek Thompson.

What makes a hit? What makes something popular?

Derek Thompson tries to answer those questions in his book "Hit Makers: How to Succeed in an Age of Distraction."

Thompson is a staff writer at the Atlantic and he joined The Show to talk about why some things become really cool and others are forgotten to history?

Mark Brodie is a co-host of The Show, KJZZ’s locally produced news magazine. Since starting at KJZZ in 2002, Brodie has been a host, reporter and producer, including several years covering the Arizona Legislature, based at the Capitol.
