Early ballots are arriving in mailboxes and Arizona’s primary elections are less than a month away. In advance of that, KJZZ has been inviting in the candidates running in contested races to talk about why they’re running and some of the key issues in their contests.
Democratic Congressman Ruben Gallego from 7th Congressional District is running for reelection to his third term in office. He is being challenged in the primary by former state lawmaker Catherine Miranda.
Gallego has become known for his very public criticism of President Donald Trump.
