March For Our Rights Argues Against March For Our Lives Movement

Since the shooting earlier this year at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, we’ve heard a lot from some of the students who survived created the group March for our Lives.

Last week The Show heard from Jordan Harb, executive director of March For Our Lives Arizona, about the group’s voter registration drive.

Michele De Groote, a sophomore at La Reina High School in Thousand Oaks, California, offers another perceptive on the issue.

De Groote is the co-founder of March For Our Rights, a group of "students across the country concerned with the growing idea that the Second Amendment is outdated and should be thrown out."

Mark Brodie is a co-host of The Show, KJZZ’s locally produced news magazine. Since starting at KJZZ in 2002, Brodie has been a host, reporter and producer, including several years covering the Arizona Legislature, based at the Capitol.
