Transit Officials Worry About Funding Delays For Tempe Streetcar

The Trump administration has been criticized by the transit advocacy group Transportation for America for failing to distribute the more than $1 billion dollars appropriated by Congress for transit construction projects.

As of Monday only $25 million of the construction funds have been awarded. Among the 14 projects waiting for funding is the Tempe Streetcar Project.

Valley Metro CEO Scott Smith joined The Show from Washington, D.C., to talk about the project.
