A Debate Over Debates Crops Up In Some Arizona Primaries

The debate over debates is back in some of Arizona’s primary elections.

Two of the three candidates in the Republican U.S. Senate primary, Joe Arpaio and Kelli Ward, have called for debates. The third candidate, Martha McSally, however, has said she’s not interested this close to election day.

Meanwhile, in the GOP gubernatorial primary, Ken Bennett has criticized his opponent, Gov. Doug Ducey, for being unwilling to debate.

To talk about this, Nathan Gonzalez, editor and publisher of Inside Elections, joined The Show.
