Arizona Secretary Of State Rejects ACLU Voter Registration Request

Arizona's Secretary of State Michele Reagan says she will not change more than 500,000 voter registration addresses to the address listed on the voter’s drivers license.

Last year, the American Civil Liberties Union requested Reagan coordinate with the Arizona Department of Transportation to automatically update a person's voter registration address when they change information on their driver license.

Reagan says her office has already coordinated with ADOT and will make those changes next year, but she expects the ACLU to file a lawsuit calling for the update before the November election.
