Some European Museums Consider Sending Artifacts Back To Countries Of Origin

Some European museums are starting to think about how to get artifacts in their collections back to their countries of origin.

In some cases, the artifacts in question were looted or stolen during colonial times; in others, they may have been acquired legally.

Rick Noack has written about this. He’s a foreign affairs reporter for the Washington Post, based in Berlin, and he joined The Show to talk about it.

Mark Brodie is a co-host of The Show, KJZZ’s locally produced news magazine. Since starting at KJZZ in 2002, Brodie has been a host, reporter and producer, including several years covering the Arizona Legislature, based at the Capitol.
