AP: Migrant Parents Coerced Into Signing Forms They Didn't Understand

Reports Thursday morning indicate U.S. immigration officers coerced some migrant parents to sign documents they did not understand before they were separated from their children.

That’s according to a complaint expected to be filed Thursday by the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the American Immigration Council.

In some cases, parents unknowingly gave away rights to be reunited with their children, when they signed English documents they couldn’t read.

The Associated Press obtained the complaint, and AP reporter Astrid Galvan joined The Show to talk about it.
