How Intellectual Property Law Could Impact Your Kid's Birthday Party

There’s a legal case pending in New York in which Disney has sued a company over unlicensed characters.

Disney argues Characters for Hire, LLC is a “knock-off business” which has been “built upon the infringement of plaintiffs' highly valuable intellectual property rights."

Ruth Carter, an attorney with the Phoenix-based firm Venjuris, joined The Show to talk about some of the issues associated with this case.

Her focus is on business, intellectual property and internet law.
