DPS Implements Safety Corridor Over Holiday Weekend

The Arizona Department of Public Safety is working to keep more drivers safe this Labor Day weekend. DPS spokesman Bart Graves said a safety corridor is set up on the I-17 from New River to Sunset Point.

“Pay attention to driving," Graves said. "Pay attention to speed. Don’t drive distracted. Don’t drive tired. All those factors reduce your response time/ reaction time when road conditions change in front of you.”

Graves said the safety corridor will reduce the speed limit in some areas.
