The search continues along the Colorado River for a fourth missing boater, after two boats collided last weekend near the border of Arizona and California.
Three other boaters were found dead early last week.
Anita Mortensen is with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office. She said investigating a boat crash isn’t easy.
“If a collision occurs in the river, everything drifts and our search area is as far as the last final piece and we don’t know how to determine how far the last piece is.”
Mortensen said they’ll be moving operations from the collision site near Topock66 Marina to the Lake Havasu City Water Safety Center.
