A former employee of Southwest Key Programs has been convicted of sex crimes against migrant kids held at an Arizona facility.

On Friday, a jury found 25-year-old Levian Pacheco guilty of 10 charges after a short trial in federal court.

KJZZ’s Matthew Casey has been followed the recent allegations against workers for the Texas-based nonprofit that’s received more than a half-billion dollars in federal funding this year.

He joined The Show to discuss this ruling.

Matthew Casey has won Edward R. Murrow awards for hard news and sports reporting since he joined KJZZ as a senior field correspondent in 2015.
