Arizona Congressman Raul Grijalva was unhappy over President Trump’s comments this week about Puerto Rico and his assertion that 3,000 residents did not die as a result of Hurricane Maria.
“Catastrophe, natural catastrophes that are happening require response from our government. That’s our public safety responsibility and we didn’t perform that in Puerto Rico.”
Grijalva, a Democrat, added that he hopes the administration has learned from the tragedies of Hurricane Maria as Florence bears down on the East Coast.
