Hurricane Florence has now been downgraded to a tropical storm.
But, President Trump is facing criticism from both Republicans and Democrats over his tweet questioning the death toll in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria last year.
However, Arizona Republican Congressman Paul Gosar is not among those dissenting voices.
"We’re blaming the president for the hurricanes?" he asked. "Are you kidding me? There’s enough blame to go around here. This is out of control. The president’s fighting because people are fighting at him. He’s taking shots from all sides.”
Gosar added that problems with oversight by the governor of Puerto Rico and mayors there deserve further investigation.
