Auvi-Q is an alternative for patients who need epinephrine.

Walgreens announced recently that it’ll stock Auvi-Q as an alternative to patients who need epinephrine.

This is in the midst of a shortage of EpiPens, which has had some patients and pharmacies scrambling for the medicine used to treat severe allergic reactions.

To talk more about the shortage, Kelly Fine, executive director of the Arizona Pharmacy Association, joined The Show.
