Almost No Protections For Tenants In Arizona Eviction Cases, According To Investigation

Last year, landlords in Maricopa County filed nearly 63,000 eviction lawsuits. And, when they go through court, they can be completed in no time at all, according to a new investigation by Alden Woods and Agnel Philip for the Arizona Republic.

The rapid pace of these cases, along with what some call a lack of protections for tenants, has resulted in a high eviction rate here in Maricopa County. So, just how common is it for someone to be evicted from their home?

Philip and Woods joined The Show to talk about what they found.
